JKS MiniSkids are essentially miniature skid plates for the lower suspension arm brackets on the front axle. The clever design spans the front of each bracket to create a boxed structure for increased strength and integrity. When properly welded to the axle and OE brackets, our MiniSkids prevent damage and deformation, and provide much-needed protection of the caster adjustment bolts and suspension arm bushings. MiniSkids are laser cut from thick 1/4" plate steel and folded for increased rigidity and proper clearance of the suspension arms. They are supplied in raw form and require painting following installation. This price is for one pair of skids installed. One pair is needed per vehicle. Aftermarket control arms are recommended.
