We get the question all of the time, "What's the cheapest way to get bigger tires on my Wrangler and it still look good?". Our anwswer to that would be the Rubicon Express budget boost. You'll see a lot of TJs out there running the roads with 32" tires and a 3" body lift. Does this work? Well, it does clear the tires, but, the unsightly gap between the frame and tires creates another problem. Also, the only thing you've gained as far as ground clearance goes is the difference in tire size from what the vehicle had on it previously as compared to the new 32" tire that you're adding. The budget boost is a kit that includes a spring spacer and longer shock for each corner as well as extended bump stops for the rear. What has this achieved? You've gained 2" of clearance at the bumpers, 2" at the frame, and more clearance at the differentials with the increase in tire size. The ride quality only changes due to the valving in the newer shocks. The OE spring rate stays the same, so ride quality isn't an issue. This kit allows fitment of a 32/11.50r15 or 265/75r16. We've put this solution together and it includes all parts necessary, labor, professional wheel alignment. For an additional amount, we can upgrade the kit to monotube shocks.
